1945 - Kibbutz Hatzor establishes Omen Industries to supply high quality aluminum and bronze castings to the automotive, security, and communications industries.

1986 - Omen launches Safeplace to develop the first patented card safe.

1988 - Caesar's Palace, Las Vegas becomes our first customer. Our safes are still in operation and have been joined by newer models.

1992 - Safeplace becomes the safe of choice for the cruise industry.

1994 - Safeplace achieves the status of leading safe supplier to the hospitality industry and offers the largest selection of quality safes for the hospitality market.

1996 - Safeplace receives ISO 9001 quality assurance certification.

1999 - Regional offices opened around the world. Safeplace is the safe of choice for leading hotel chains.

2001 - Safeplace introduces electronic safes into leading hospitals around the world.

2003 - Safeplace launches a new line of advanced electronic safes: Magna Digital Safes, Titan Card Safes, Quantor Smart Key Safes.

2004 - Safeplace raises the bar with the first biometric finger-print protected handheld unit and the unique Tiara Top-Open Drawer Safe.

2005 - Safeplace introduces the reliable, user-friendly fingerprint-operated Impact Biometric Safe. Safeplace becomes a leading supplier to the university market.

2006 - The Safeplace Tiara Top Open safe sets the standard at upscale chains. Safeplace receives RoHS certification.

2006 - Safeplace moves its premises to Ashdod, the leading port city in Israel

2008 - Safeplace and Timelox International join forces to market electronic safes and electronic locks together.

2009 - The extensive Safeplace Timelox line of security products was enhanced by the addition of the touchless Timelox Optima RFID lock with flexible card-based technology.
